Equal Payment Plans. When you use an eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card to pay for flights on aa.com or the American app, you may be offered one or more equal monthly payment options with Citi Flex Pay during checkout. Equal monthly payments will only apply to the price of the flight, which must be at least $75. Ancillary fees, including but not limited to checked baggage fees, upgrades, and seat selection fees are not eligible for Citi Flex Pay at checkout; however, other Citi Flex Pay options may be available on your Citi Online account after purchase. The Citi Flex Pay option may not be available to all Citi credit cardholders or at all times. If your purchase is processed as part of a Citi Flex Pay, the purchase will be charged to your eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card and you will be responsible for making the monthly payments as part of a Citi Flex Pay at the APR and number of payments selected at checkout. The monthly amount for each Citi Flex Pay that you are required to pay each Billing Period will be included in the Minimum Payment Due on your Citi credit card statement. See your Card Agreement for more details.

Splitting Purchases. If multiple American Airlines flight purchases have been financed with Citi Flex Pay and are processed during different Billing Periods, they will be split into separate Citi Flex Pays based on the Billing Period in which they post. Each Citi Flex Pay will have the same APR and require the same number of payments that was originally selected at checkout.

AutoPay. If your account is enrolled in AutoPay and set to pay your Last Statement Balance, your entire card balance, including any Citi Flex Pays appearing on your most recent statement, will be paid at your next monthly due date unless you change your AutoPay settings before your next scheduled payment.

When Purchases Are Not Processed as a Citi Flex Pay. Choosing to finance your purchase with Citi Flex Pay does not guarantee that your purchase will be processed as a Citi Flex Pay. If any part of your purchase is not processed as a Citi Flex Pay but is otherwise authorized, it will be charged as a regular purchase to your eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card and you will be responsible for payment as you normally would. Call the number on the back of your Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card for any inquiries regarding your purchases.

Overlimit Charges. If your Citi Flex Pay causes you to exceed your credit limit on your eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card, you will be responsible for paying the Overlimit Amount which may include part of your Citi Flex Pay balance, as part of the Minimum Payment Due on your next Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card statement. This may, consequently, reduce the number of monthly payments on your Citi Flex Pay

Refunds. In most cases, refunds will be processed within 7 business days and a credit will appear on your eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card account. Merchant Refunds are applied to your existing credit card balance. However, if you would like the credit applied to your Citi Flex Plan, call the number on the back of your Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card. Please see your Card Agreement for additional information on Merchant Refunds.

Card Rewards. If your eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® credit card currently earns miles and/or Loyalty Points on flight purchases, you will continue to earn those rewards for flight purchases made using Citi Flex Pay on aa.com or the American app as you normally would. Please review your Card Agreement for more information.

To use Citi Flex Pay on an eligible purchase, your account must be current, under the credit limit, and have the applicable Citi Flex Pay terms. Other factors may apply.
